Designed by award winning architects Tonkin Liu, the Future Flower is a 14m high iconic public art piece which can be seen to grow out of the land, move gently in the wind and transfer wind energy into pulsing red light, marking a definitive point on the horizon of the River Mersey.

The Future Flower is located on Widnes Warth Nature Reserve, within the Widnes Waterfront regeneration area on the north bank of the River Mersey and can be seen close up by walking or cycling along the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) between Spike Island and Fiddlers Ferry.
